 Great carrier and space for the price September 3, 2010

We borrowed this carrier for a roadtrip and it worked so well we bought one. It's easy to use, fits quite a bit and is an amazing value compared to other brands such as Thule (although I believe it is made by them.) Great buy!

We bought this roof top box as we are a family of six that owns a 2010 Honda Odyssey. We were planning a trip to NC from Ohio for a week's vacation in early Aug 2010 and simply needed significant additional space.
The order shipped extremely quickly and arrived in perfect condition. The first time I mounted it, I had to adjust the cross bars on the Odyssey, but even with that time included, it took less than 30 minutes. I expect that it will take less than 10-15 minutes for all future installs. I was able to install it by myself with no tools other than a stepping stool to get up high enough to see inside the box. Please note that I am 6"3" and 210 lbs, so handling the weight and awkward size of the roof top box was not an issue for me, but might be for others.
We drove 700 miles each way at speeds up to 85mph, and experienced a few heavy rain showers. The box performed flawlessly. As others have noted, the space in the box accommodates a large amount of cargo. (we used soft sided bags to maximize its capacity), no rain entered the roof top box, we did not experience any wind noise and gas mileage was not effected in any noticeable way.
I would highly recommend this product.

On my Honda Pilot the roof box worked great. I was able to carry three sleeping bags, four chairs, a tent, sun structure and a coffee pot and lantern. On the next trip it held 3 out of 4 golf clubs. We experienced some rain on the trip and everything stayed dry. The box had a minimal impact on gas mileage, and road securely.
