4 out of 5 stars It's working great for my needs   July 20, 2010

I'm please with this shopping pannier. I'm not an avid biker, I just use it for going to the store or farmers market or taking the kids to swim practice. This pannier is very useful and I use it more than I thought I would. I would have given it 5 stars but the metal support poles used to keep it open seem a little shorter than they should be so they keep slipping out or their support. It doesn't really affect it's use but it could be designed a little better. Also, it only has a handle on one side. It seems it would have been easy to put a handle on both sides so it could be carried like a shopping bag since I don't use the shoulder strap. Overall I like it and would recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect for shopping on the bike   July 3, 2010

Easy to mount, easy to remove. Good shoulder strap. Heel clearance is not a problem if you mount it as far back on the rack as you can. Considering that you can spend double the money for the same thing, this is a great buy.

4 out of 5 stars Very flexible; carries a lot.   February 1, 2010

Best carrier for the price I found. Can squeeze a lot of groceries in it. I did lose one though unknowingly. A car passed me and i thought it hit something ... that was the noise of my pannier falling off my bike. Didn't realize until I got home. oops; my bad. But I wish there were a way to more snugly attach to the bike rack.

5 out of 5 stars Leave the car at home!   December 31, 2009

These bags are great. I have been using them for about a month, and I have not taken my car to the grocery store since. I bought two of these and have never hesitated to buy something for worry of it not fitting in the bags. Each pannier, fits one of those reusable shopping bags nearly perfectly. The largest load I have carried so far includes a gallon of water, 4 large cans of soup, 2 half gallon cartons of OJ and about 10 lbs of various things from the store. It was no problem fitting these things into the bags. I have discovered that my body's weight limit may be reached before the bag's limit is. Strongly recommended.

2 out of 5 stars ok but cheap snap button broke after 6 times   October 18, 2009

I actually really liked this bag. My foot doesn't hit it while pedaling and it holds a pretty good load of groceries or whatever. I was disappointed when the button snap which holds it in it's collapsable state broke off after I snapped it the 6th time
